Krisp frosty morning here. Watched the sunrise over the hills in the distance. Waiting for it to warm up a bit and psyching myself up for an oil change on the landy.

Wouldn't like to say it was warm out, but it certainly wasn't cold. Wee dog went swimming in the mountain stream, seemed to enjoy himself and I didn't need the gloves I 'ad tooked w' me.:)

Done me oil change. Fashioned a sump oil catcher out of a spare oil bottle, with a slot and panel cut out so it fits over the anti roll bar and tucks up under the gear box so when the oil shoots out horizontally when the plug comes out the oil is captured runs out the neck and into the bowl on the driveway. Successfully drained the sump without a drop going on the driveway or up my sleeve :D - until I dropped my extension bar into the full bowl and splashed a bit onto the driveway . I think theres a gremlin lives under me landy and demands a few drops of oil. Had a job getting into the landy to start with, the central locking kept instantly re-locking itself, thought part of the mechanism was frozen up (sub zero last night) but once I got in and checked the battery voltage it was flatter than a witches boobs so thats on charge today.
