Tonights self catering tea has just been upgraded from beans on toast - to whatever thaws out in the container just removed from the freezer. Its either stew n dumplings or lasagne, (I think) .
New zorst for SWMBO is out for delivery so another lazy day while waiting in for it.

Me screw drivering bits keep fallin oot the fing they fit int. Eye found a magnet ont floor but din't realise at the time wot it were from. I does now but couldn't find it. After a lot of search ing at ome it were at wurk. Eye has now purrit it back where it should be and me screw driver bits dun't fall oot anymore. Eye has bin doing a lot of screw drivering recently un it be gerrin ere right pain having the bits keep fall oot. Got to the stage where eye took the bit oot each time rather than drop it un have ter find it. Who would have thought er little gem filled with gravity could be so good.

Today in 1940 Winston Churchill gave his famous speech "Never was so much owed by so many to so few" It is relevant today too but unfortunately the original "few" were a bunch of brave men whereas today's "few" are bankers

It be good news. Me laser level int p*ssed. There be a sliding button on it to turn it ont and have either a fixed position or it works oot the true horizontal/vertical ont second switch position. Eye muster had it ont the first option by mistake. Purrit ont second position and looked ergen and me doors be not right anyway. It would seem the doors were made wonky because the garage is leaning over. So me level be no good ont this occasion. Eye got round it by using the doors as a datum to fit me wood so it looks ok from 10 foot even thought it's leaning over er bit. There be no such fing as er straight forward job.

Eye were int axminster today. Got meself a new plane int sale as eye bin lookerin oot fer one ferra while and looked at the sash clamps again. There be nowt wrong with the clamps. Sometimes the thread bit yer turn is a little bit tight int certain areas but not a problem that should be a concern. Buy one get one free so eye gotted two and walked oot with 4. Wurks oot they be £11.50 each ferra meter long metal clamp. Eye will sill make some more of me own but they were too good an opportunity ter pass by.

Eye has many magical talents. One day eye will be good enough ter fly with me burds, who seem to have disappeared even more now.
