were very popular around here ,grew huge with much fat , tastes change and the last 2 were sent for slaughter in 1972,(you have the last two so you send them for slaughter no thought of a breed dying out)now been reintroduced by selective breeding of hungarian mangalitsa which have lincs pigs dna as they were sent as breeding stock in the 1900s to hungary
