...that I am struggling a bit.
The 38 YO Son has his 7YO daughter here and she just does not stop talking.
The reedy little voice impregnated with American cartoon culture accents and her need to thunder her sadly obese little body from point A to B everywhere in the house is a bit "tiring". ;)
She's staying with Dad, all night and until 11 tomorrow apparently. Deep joy.
Grumpypants-R-Us I am afraid. :(

Noise cancelling headphones....

For me making festive cards. Clash playing. Happy lady.

Heard me squirrel climbing me wall earlier, twice. Just been oot to put nuts down. Hedgehog food nealy all gone. Put some more down ferrim. Need to test to see iffits a hog or not. Dun't want to put me camera in there as the slugs will climb over it.

Eye likes this time of year when fings is changing. Leefs are yella, gold un red. Leefs falling covering me garden. Ain't going to sweep them up thus year. Leaving em to see what happens.
Wurms likes leaves

Been searching the internet for some series one body measurements but zero, zilch, nowt.🤔
Plenty of chassis diagrams and length / width measurements but that's all.
Front axle to steering wheel distance readily available but what use is that ?? :(
Can't even find door measurement
Need to know if my 15" high motor will fit under the bonnet,
Perhaps your over perfecting?
If it looks like a series, or close enough, then most peeps would applaud I fink. So long as the proportions are good?

Errm, perhaps unhelpful, but is your place Dan, not your son's. W's grandkids thought they could treat our house fas their own (badly) , I disagreed..
Now they sit at the table for their supper, plays wif me Dinky Tratters nicely and go to bed at a reasonable time WITHOUT damned gadgets or teevees and sleep proper. Is surprising what a Paddington stare from a grizzly Tratterer can do :):)
Course, when the parents arrive chaos ensues, but that ain't my problem. They're busy young peeps, modern living ain't good for families imo.

I'd say start as you mean to go on. The son needs reminding that he is a guest (self-invited maybe) and that this is the perfect time to start to train his daughter about this fact too.

You're right of course but..
I need to know that it's right, anyone can build a wooden look alike and many do but mine will be betterer :D

Is there an owners' club?
You might be able to get peeps off there to measure stuff for you.
The C3 owners club helped me like mad with W' s autoshift semi auto clutch. One bloke even measured the thickness of every single leaf of his clutch and gave the figures to me.
Second thought. Have you tried looking for good photos and physically measuring them? If you know stuff like track and wheel base, I'd a thought you might be able to use that to do the maffs to work out measurements of body panels.
Best of luck mate!:):):)

Good idea, I'll sort out what I need and ask on the series section

I sympathise deeply with this, but at the same time, it is nice that she feels relaxed enough with you to be able to do all this.
I remember one of our grandsons, when very young, thinking it was hilarious to run across the room and launch himself at grandpa headbutting him in the gut! It didn't hurt and it didn't go on for long, Rather have that than a grumpy teenager who only wants to hide in "her" room on her phone curling her lip every time you say something to her. ;)
