Got AVG up and running last night but boy do they want you to spend dosh and nearly don't allow you to have what you bought so cheap!

They gave me BS about it being a misunderstanding but have "opted you into the Octoplus scheme from our end", in other words accepted that demanding I download an app, when I don't want to, is a bit discriminatory.
So all is well that ends well.

Downloading an app to use ain't no different to using their website. Its to their advantage to get as many peeps onto the app, to increase the number of peeps checking their account more regularly.

I'm sure this is all as you say, but they did tell me I couldn't join "saving sessions" unless I did the download. They only rel;ented when I had a go at them.

So there must ne a ton of peeps who do fall for it.

Chops normally want a receipt to match up the purchase. Esoecially if they have clever tills. Yer may have already claimed a refund before and reused the receipt again to try yer luck. It also id's the receipt holder to the sale. Same for needing the same card to refund if yer paid by card. Chops dun't like taking stuff back if it can't be sold as new again. Open packets are a concern. But your return was for faulty goods. They will still want proof of purchase as yer could have gorrum from a different brand of chop. Some chops will eggscept a credit card srarenent as proof of spending in store but said line needs to be for the correct amount. If yer bortid several items then they won't trust it. Refund scams are quite clever so chops are on the lookoot. What they have done is wivvin the rules. May seem unfair but its how it goes. Take a gun wiv yer next time and fings may be different.

Eye inheritid blackoot curtains on some of my windows when eye bort me castle. They dun't let light in or oot so peeps ootside dun't know someones at home at night. So eye removed the blackoot cloth panels. Eye want peeps to know me castle is occupied fer sucurity reasons.

Yer may be enabled to use it but are you using it?

They need to advise in advance when the 'saving period' is going to start. They offer app notification or email if yer dun't have the app. Most peeps will react to notifications faster than email as they pop up on yer smart fone. But yer can't beat a phone call. They dun't offer that option. Looks like they tend to alert a day in advance but at times of sudden demand on the grid, short notice of the chance to save may happen.

Me stake last nite were lovely. Cooked in me mean grilling fing. Eye chop it up to get faster more even cookering. Oven chips done in air fryer. At 6 mins from the end eye pulls oot the tray and shakes em about. Drops in chopped tomatoes and black pudding. Puts tray back. Me stake is cookered all the way frew. At arf times eye moves it about so it dunt stick. Served all in one bowl on top of itself.
 
Me squirrel has visited nearly every day this week. Not when its raining. Gorra surprise when me hedgehog food dissapeared. Next nite only half what eye put oot disappeared. Dun't know iffits a hog gerrin it. Entrance hole in me plastic box is 5 inch away from me garage so limited access. Attracts a lorra slugs. Eye sometimes flick them oot wiv a twig. They climb in me feeding bowl and fall er sheep. Not sure if they eat the hog pellets.

Thats wot I did, cut the blackout cloffs off (after 'er indoors attempt to get her money back). And they fit ok now. Had another curtain saga today at dottir's house, she bought some from Neckst. Before she unpacked them I checked the widths - there was enough cloff to go across the window, half a yard spare each side, and a yard down the adjoining wall. A bit too long says I, they're going back (she has the receipt and not unpacked them) to swap for a shorter length. Wimmins - huh! :rolleyes:

Heard me squirrel climbing me wall earlier, twice. Just been oot to put nuts down. Hedgehog food nealy all gone. Put some more down ferrim. Need to test to see iffits a hog or not. Dun't want to put me camera in there as the slugs will climb over it.

Eye likes this time of year when fings is changing. Leefs are yella, gold un red. Leefs falling covering me garden. Ain't going to sweep them up thus year. Leaving em to see what happens.
 
Been searching the internet for some series one body measurements but zero, zilch, nowt.🤔
Plenty of chassis diagrams and length / width measurements but that's all.
Front axle to steering wheel distance readily available but what use is that ?? :(
Can't even find door measurement
Need to know if my 15" high motor will fit under the bonnet,
