You have been really prolific in the posting of pix from that show. some really lovely motrs there. Shame the Mk1 Cortina was in an estate. The merc was larvely. But you seemed to have taken way too many pics of little Austins? Do you have a little yearning there going on????
I'd have the MG magnette any time.
;););) :) :) :)
I really like the estate version, that's a lovely example.
Makes a change from all the Mexico and Rs versions you see at most shows

Not saying it isn't nice, it is, and whatever the engine is in it, it looks tasty anorl, you'll doubtless tell me but some sort of Ford twin cam I'd guess.
I just have a massive soft spot for all marks of Cortina having driven and owned all of them, even used one as a donor for my last kit car. Love tuning the Pinto engine.
My only Mk1 I bought when I came back from France, got married in it, drove it all over the UK, including Scotland and France until it succumbed to rust. Just love the look of it, the saloon that is, above all the others.
Family owned one and we toured all over Europe in it with camping gear in the boot and a boat on the roof.
Maybe I ought to flog one of the Discos and buy one, while stocks last!

...that I have started the wine inventory. I have decided that after labouring in the cellar moving boxes and stocktaking, I'll come to the lappy and enter it in as I get to the end of each producer.
So far done one, 8 types of wine, 119 bots and 1 magnum given by them as a gift.

So about 10 more producers to go.
Onwards and upwards!!
Enjoy the arvo peeps!

I don't get it. They decide they should be illegal for people to use, unless you pay to rent one.

They aren't illegal to own, just illegal to use depending who owns it? You can use mine but you can't use your own.. that doesn't sound legal
I think they are great, the city needs more electric transport as Paris has just about banned all other fuel types in vehicles :)

Nope, you will no longer be allowed to hire one and use it, illegally or not, you cannot use a private one at all. on public roads, footpaths etc, as it is illegal. But you can own one and presumably ride around on it in your house, garden paddock estate etc.
But you can use an eBike, legally, in Paris.

Did you actooly click on the link?
"Paris will this week become one of the only cities in Europe with an outright ban on rented e-scooters "

There is nothing wrong with them, or eBikes per se, it is the idiots who ride them, often kidz, and just leave em any old where, don't wear helmets, cause accidents etc. (10 peeps killed in July alone according to French govt data. (From AFP website)).
We have the flipping things in Ferndown and they are a silent menace, plus even on our estate, which is nowhere near the town centre, kids just abandon them so you have to make sure you don't trip over them on the footpath when out walking your dog or whatever.

Paris already has an absolutely fab Metro system, far superior, faster and more regular then the London underground. That's electric. They also have buses as far as I know.
