Afternoon folks :) .

Lovely and sunny hear again yesterday and today🫠.

So yesterday afternoon went to our friends house (he hasn't been for 4 yrs with 1 thing and another) All the padlocks on the gates opened surprisingly easy, Got in the house and some ****s have decided to break in:mad:.
Said buggers had just turned the place over, all the draws out. The weird thing is the only thing (on initial inspection) that was missing is 2 bicycles, his battery drill, and a Henry. He was more miffed about Henry than anything else:).

So then we stomp down the jungle to look at his car. Cover was half off the car, 1 door window down, bonnet unlatched🤔.
So Big John picks something off the ground and say "this is not mine" I said "that's what they nick CATs with. look under and yes the ****s had cut the pipe but obviously couldn't reach the front, so CAT still there.

So this morning loaded up the mini digger, Dragged the car out enough to get the battery on and it started😲.
But can only drive it backwards cos of the dangly exhaust🤣.
Got it on the trailer and it is now at ours, he is playing with the digger and will be back later, with the defender.
I have a feeling that a Renault may be in the garage tomorrow to prep for MOT🤔.

Note to self: Dont load a car backwards and think its central/level, should have reversed it all the way up, it got wobbly at 65 when I overtook a slow coach;).

Sounds like he got off fairly lightly.
Car started, that is worth a WOW!
We has to load W's Pluriel with the front slightly over the front of the trailer to get a balance so you was lucky!!!

Flickin barstools. Can’t leave nort these days, I dislike the idea of vigilantism but when the state refuses to protect the people, the people must protect themselves.

He got bust into before, cos he locked all the internal doors they all got bashed in, this time he left all internal doors open.
But the internal grills worked to keep them out of the ground floor and previously vulnerable doors/windows, but how they got up on that particular 2nd floor balcony still cant work out:(.

In the grand scheme of things hes having fun driving a digger in BG, keeping the horse and carts full:).

The strange and curious thing is. When we rocked up yesterday the dogs next door went nuts. same side as where ****s went in🤔.

Does no good to over think it, just need to get him sorted.

I would just love to catch some barst-- doing that the digger would be handy for the hole no question asked here 👍👍
 
... that the trike build has been causing me some issues. Difficulties were encountered and the whole concept may prove to be unviable, but we will persevere because like when her dad caught me; I'm too far in to pull out now. ;)

The latest stumbling block has been obtaining decent chain-lines from the chainring(s) up front to the mid-drive input side, and from the mid-drive output side to the 2WD unit.
As in my youth I tried many positions and variations but none really satisfied me completely; so it was time to take drastic action.
Yes, you guessed it.... she had to have surgery.

It is only a 15° "kink" but it is going to make all the difference.
I am pretty sure it will work (the paper-template says so). :)
