No rain overnight but a heavy dew on the rooftop.

ah yea, that dry rain really sux

Morning all tis stopped rainin here, sky is dark n grey looks like we be in for some more wet rain.
Our burn/stream is flowing nicely, just in time as the trout were in little pools. Another few days without
rain & it would have been completely dry.

Forecast was for a dry night so I painted bonnet and wings last evening while it wasn't too warm.
Lucky the paint dries quick cause everywhere was wet this morning
get second coat on today with a bit of luck

They do proper cooking usually at home, but they also like to eat out prolly more than we do. We certainly eat out more here. It's better and cheaper.
But I can't post about the younger generation they are more like our millenials and prolly use MacDs a lot more than any of our lot. They do behave more like the Italians and the eSpanish, eating wise, but i think both of them possibly eat out more. TBH dunno, would have to do some research and CBA today!

Well we had a thunderstorm right overhead yesterday arternoon and evenin.
so the power kept cutting out. So had to keep going to the fusebox and pushing the button as well as resetting the burgular alarrum.
Obvs as soon as we knew it was coming we had to disconnect the WiFi box as not doing so can fry it.
So no tinternet last night.
Predicted again today but so far we are just in the bottom of the cloud base.
Went doon the vally to get W's haircut. I allus has to go in case I need to translate stuff like "Was she happy with it last time?" and "Does she want it as short as last time" and "Does she want it off the ears" and "Does she want anything for the weekend"?
The answer to all questions being "Yes", well except for the last one that I put in to see if you are still awake!
So will spend some of today working out where we'll be putting all this apple juice.
Have to spend some time putting barbed wire up along fencelines where there is either no fence or it isn't enough to keep the deer out. Not looking forward to that!

Was at my neighbours hoose doing a bit a digging first off just below the surface a fkn cable
that shouldnt have been there (bt cable) which they were meant to bury
So I pulled it all up & it goes into the next doors hoose. Had a chat with the owners they were
going to pull it out & poke it though the fence I said you cant do that its the main supply in
oh no they said we dont have bt we have sky so ours is wireless To which I said do you
pay a line rental....yes...well then thats your line going to the bt pole

I am now officially 'disabled' just got confirmation from the government
