Well done mate! More power to your elbow.:):):)
Judging by the exterior, was it, or is it still, an old Marley sectional garage?
Cos I've known three of them.
Having up and over garage doors stopped condensation in all three but they were notorious among others for condensation. ;)
If not, forgive my presumption!;)
It is sectional concrete (I have no idea if it is a Marley though?) but has standard opening wooden doors.

Not much to report this week. Wurk has unreasonably kept me busy. Me bobbin is about each morning defending is patch. Eye is still monitoring temperature in different rooms to see which one gets cold quicker so eye can prioritise that to solve. Was going to screwfix for some more winda seal but hey int gorrany local. Gorra wait ferrit.

A new Screwfix has just opened only 30 miles away from me. :)

Evening folks:)

After a rather heavy night last night I decided I would delay me shirt shopping till the afternoon:)
So went too the big boy town (Norwich) and got a shirt and tie in red:)

Now back out for human antifreeze as it’s 90s night and school girl dress bar staffers:eek:

still no conclusion on dads alternator, I get an AC volt measurement but apparently they can happen with cheap meters:eek: now I know why they can make em for £8:rolleyes:.
But still get a bad reading for continuity from post to earth:confused: so it may have a bad diode but can’t see a current drain:mad:.
Let’s see what Monday brings after leaving battery connected, I am beginning to think it was short journeys and old battery mixed with a little bit of his old age;)

Not very busy on ere today. Gottid all me washin done and dried int tumbul dryer. Some was oot on line burrit got dark un cold. Only fing is me tumbul dryer filter gets filled wiv fluff which eye finks it pulls oot me clothes. So they is wearing away every time they is tumbulled.

Could be a Danmarque or a Hanson. they had the old pebbledash type exterior. The three Marley's I knew just had plain concrete on the outside. Or did they?
I am having to go back to my childhood and my first ever house I bought and then sold again in 1985 odd.

Just wonderin if Dolly Parton goes to bed normally at night or if someone pulls the plug out of her and she just goes "hissssssss" for a while!;):):):):):)

Morning All :D
Still here, still smiling (or is it "grinning like an idiot"?). :)
Did some smashing up of the eucalyptus rounds yesterday.
That is one weird wood. The 8" steel wedges just bounced off/out of the slots cut in them unless you tapped them in with a 2lb club hammer first.
When the rounds finaly split they dont split like normal wood; they more or less explode/shatter in irregular shapes. Something to do with the twisted grain I think.
Anyway, hefting the 6lb splitting Maul was a real workout and eventually a few (3 or 4) of them got done before my back and my shoulder asked me to stop.
The wood will burn nicely next year. :)
Have a great day :D

Oh dear, MIL on the phone because her water heating isn't working.
The plug & Socket I told her to get her son to replace has now failed or the immersion element has gone.
What can I do about it? I suggested she call her son (as he can manage to get over to see her to relieve her of all her cash), he can repair whatever has broken.
"But what shall I do, I have no hot water? - Errr.... boil a kettle?

Yer guessed the crumpits at no 3. Milk and bread were 1 and 2. Eye has also won an award at sainsberrys. Eye came second in 2021 fer buying the most yogguts of a certain type from my local sainsberrys chop. The strawberry/raspberry/cherry sainserrys ones. Sadly it won't appen this year as they have moved em down the other end of the isle which is where the general flow of traffic comes from, so they is sold oot when eye goes choppin. The orrible yellow ones is there.

Been a recall on some products for the big stores for containing salmonella, dark chocolate puff pastries
an pizza doh plus frubie yogurts.

Exactly, I stupidly used expanding foam in the corrugated ends of the existing roof and then the problems started. The new shed has made it impossible to get the stuff removed so this is the only way I could come up with. It has cost £600 in materials alone!!

O'dear thats a pain sorry matey. :(:(
I have a big bag of foam strips that fit into the corrugated sheets I got them free.
