Must admit I'd get killed if I tried to cut anything on our new work surface, or even on the Granite ones in Frogland. They'd feck the blades anyway, so we has loads of chopping boards usually a form of plasticky looking stuff that goes in the dishwasher!
Last time I fecked up a work surface it was through taking a coffee pot off the hob and putting it down on one. The peroclator had finished so there was no watter in it, so it was rather hotter than it should have been.
Ooopppss we made an epoxy river table for a lad & told him not to put hot stuff onto it
so what was the fist thing he put on it....hot plates out the oven

Wow! Great news!My PC cannot currently be upgraded to Win 11 because it has no TPM2.0 module.
Now that's not entirely true because you can edit the registry to remove dependence on TPM2.0 but you are then on your own.
A plug-in TPM 2.0 module had been ordered (£26+) and it will be here Thursday so I can do the upgrade then.
(I didn't understand a feckin word of it. Glad he does!!!)

Well that was a big waste of time then.Ooopppss we made an epoxy river table for a lad & told him not to put hot stuff onto it

If a worktop can't stand plates at what, 50 degs odd, then it's about as much use as a chocolate fireguard! Where on earth are you supposed to put the plates while putting food on them?
AHA!!!!! It was a TABLE not a work top. My bad!!!
No on a table you use pads, like what we use. Silly boy wasn't he!!!

Well it's feckin p1ssing it down out here!
Wifey din't buy enough special plassy envelopes to send stuff to France in. So she's off to buy some more, and batteries for her multifarious Chrispmus decorations.
She left me a load of jobs to do, to do with present wrapping and card writing, in French and English.
But I only wrote down the details of two, so she'll have to tell me the rest again when she gets back in. Why do Wimmins fire lists of stuff at you like that? Usually with lots of "oh, and another thing..." in it?
Mind you, they do that during a row don't they? Machine gun you!
I've learned my way around that one though!!!

Its been a bit of a non day for us, just bimbled around and did nothing special.
We have had sun, rain & wind today.
The good thing today is the Pork in the slow cooker has been driving us nuts got to do the spuds and carrots now to go with.
