Morning All:D
Well the worst elements of the get-****ed/fall down/knock yourself out/go to hospital/ injuries are abating.
Booked myself back in to the Chiro's for next week (now I don't look so horrific and I can see ok to drive. :)
Quite cold today. No real plans. My son is returning home this morning.

Indeed, the "not so bad looking" judgement is merely my interpretation of the improvement YMMV ;)

I can determine a "line" of bruising/discolouration down the RH side of my face that matches the top corner and a side of the bollard. :(
It could have been an oh so very different outcome. I am grateful to still be here.
Wifey has been a rock with not one word of condemnation, only words of compassion and care. :)
This old fool will be making a few changes.

....that once they have you in their sights, they never let you go.
I just got called by the nice lady from the Alcohol abuse unit at the Hospital to check up on me.
I think she must be a trainee police-person or something. ;) Talk about 20 questions.
Have I been drinking? No spirits, no.
What have you been drinking then? From an alcohol perspective just Tonic water with a dash of red wine.
How much Red wine is that then? Less than 1/4 of a standard bottle in 4-days, like I say, just a dash for colour/flavouring.
Are you taking any drugs? What!! Goodness me no, not since i was about 20.

I know it is well-meant, but it is also a bit intrusive, it's not as if I am a "regular" at the hospital for such problems. :rolleyes:

my dad will have put it on one of his project landys hes sold. because it was nicer than the one that was on it
my mine came off my landy, i can't say.. i dont recall taking it off myself!

it just hurts that my dad didnt take 1/2 a second to think.. decent original ones are hard to come by.. tempted to buy a new one and 'age' it

Nice! How big is this "Shed"? My 12 x 8 x 8 cost me about £2k but it is all 4 x 2 studwork and plywood lined and shiplap outer sheathed with a 25 year rubber roof. Worth every penny though.
