Have looked for when I do come back, I still have an NHS number but not sure it will be valid. I will stay with a friend who has done this so she knows and drop off boxes close, till I get my negative result back(2 days) before I go and see parents and Bruv.
But its delayed a little as he is in ospital this week (if there's a bed:mad:) to get him off the opioid drugs:(.

Spoke to him and he is upbeat.:):(.

Glad to hear your last remark.
We had a hectic last few days in Frogland, but then we have the dogs to contend with as well. Also Britney Ferriz asked us to get it all on paper and as we were staying with a mate, that was relatively easy, once we realised my pooter couldn't print on his printer over the Wi-Fi, so i emailed my stuff to Wifey whose phone would print this way!!
I cannot imagine a reason why your NHS number would not be valid. Even if you haven't needed it for years, think it's like your NI number, with you for life.
But others on here will know!
Do hope all goes as well as it can. :)

Don't know if I've asked this afore, but why do you not use axle stands?
Speaking as one who uses them all the time.;);););) and yes, wiv bits of wood to p[rotect the underside stuff just like I do with the jack(s)
I do use axle stands, when I need to take a wheel off. But I can get enough height for oil services on most cars by driving onto my "plank" ramps. Just that today was the first time on the focus, with the same ground clearance as a snail. Which was a bit tight - although I did get a bit more by putting a trolley jack under the body. Another plank thickness for next time will do it.

I just worry, as one should, that all it takes for a jack to collapse is a dodgy seal. Heard so many times of peeps getting deaded as a result.
Wifey's Pluriel is also low to the ground, So I do know what you mean! Especially the time her sump plug started going round and round so I had to take the fecking sump off which was a task and a half. I even had to phone a friend to get some advice!
(He simply said, "Are you sure you have found all the bolts?". There were two up inside the clutch housing that weren't obvious in Haynes.)
I think it may have helped me that I bought an especially low profile trolley jack to help me get under cars like hers. My others wouldn't even go under, so I'd have had to use the cars jack just to get it up high enough to get a trad trolley jack under. Only cost about £30 if I remember rightly, worth it for this sort of thing.

I managed my focus st in the drive a few times by driving it up on two sleeper offcuts. They are about 5” thick. A couple of steps up with thinner bits of wood as well :)

On the subjic of dead rats etc stinking the house out cos they has deceased in wall or under floor.
We have used poison to kill mice, mulots, and even a Loir in France. the dead stink thing has never happened and no body has ever been found.
Were we just lucky?;);););)
Mind you, we do have concrete floors and no wall cavity. They tended to inhabit the loft space. ;););)

We have seen quite a lot like the bottom right one.
They seem to come in almost as many different colour combinations as Cocker Spaniels now!

With those feck off big wheels, wouldn't be surprised. :(:(:(

Ive bought another set of wheels n tyres 35" tyres this time so the drive train will handle it with ease.
Ashcroft & raptor wont give any warranty on any tyres bigger than 37" I was considering fitting Hd
shafts & cv's with diff lockers.
Now its stripped im thinking of just replacing all the bearings/swivels/seals. Im in no rush but id like
it ready to use before winter. o_O

Just dropped one of my daughters at the station, as she had popped over to see us. Things have been strained for a while so it was nice to let the past go and get on with the future :)

Am cross wif the pair of em, he a master bricky, metal worker an genral doer wif lots of family history to share, she a brilliant young mind with so much in store. I've tried, but both are just bloody ornery. Shame. :(
