Not true!
Are you getting any further with the van moving devices?
Hope so!:):):)
Just waiting for the arrival of my gardener to do the locked-up wheel before the mover can be re-activated. The electronic box controlling the rear (offending) box has been tested and then replaced - a defunct relay. All thanks to the company who made the mover - I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATION from the dealer who should have been doing all this.

Think they really suck.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Did the van come with no warranty at all?
I'd have thought that you had a pretty clear case in consumer law, but I get the impression you do not want to go down that route.
Don't blame you due to the hassle factor, but then that is what they are relying on, which is unfair and bad business practice, or should be.
Can't help thinking about a few stories I have heard about farmers annoyed with councils, who have filled the muck spreader with muck, driven to the council offices and given them a good spraying! You DO know a farmer or two don't you?!;););):D:D:D

Guid afternoon
Weather cant make up its mind , sunny , dull, wee spot of rain...taps oan today.

Big bust up with my new boss on Friday, (he seems to be a 'My way or the highway' type) have been milling things over and discussing with my better half and have decided enough is enough, Ill take the highway
Months notice will be going in on Monday....aaaahhhh I feel better already
So Harland & Wolff Methil Ltd will be looking for a new Head of Engineering if anyone is interested.

Of to the gym shortly to de stress.

Well you have two days to decide whether you want to let him "win" if that is the way you look at things.

You could of course make things sh!t for him by going and claiming constructive dismissal. It could go to a Tribunal and even if you don't attend it would cost them time and quite a bit of dosh.
"bullying behaviour" etc.
Wifey did this once to a company who behaved this way.
If you are looking to retire you have nothing to lose, i.e no reference. etc.
Best of luck and if it happens........
Welcome to the world of the retired. You'll never have been so busy!;);););)

A one year full one for the caravan but I don't know of that starts from when I bought it in August or from mid October when they had it ready for delivery. I have just about had enough dealing - or otherwise - with this company and I would like to advise everybody NOT to buy from 3A's in Carmarthen if they are intending to expect any service after they have sold it to you. Excellent choice of stock, excellent sales staff, NON-EXISTENT after-sales service - 'cos 'we are so busy'. I do not have any complaints about the standard of the work done by their engineers but there just isn't enough of them - too much penny pinching by the management???
The heartening thing is that the company who made the mover was certainly professional and I would wholeheartedly recommend Quattro Purple Line to anyone.

One final comment on this, your case under consumer law goes beyond a one year warranty, as with all warranties, they "do not affect your rights in law" or words to that effect, which they all say in the blurb.

Afternoon folks:)

well been a bit busy and not been here much other than to check that you are all getting on ok, which seems mostly to be the case;).

We have had a few good days and I am on the final straight of the current project outside, Hope to be pretty much wrapped up by Monday. then it will be onto the next;). Think the next on the list is an easy 1, hope so:).

So tomorrow is already planned, work in the morning and a little bit before the "petrolhead" takes over the afternoon then we are off to our local eatery for an early tea/late lunch:).

We are nearly bullet proof too, another 6days and we can stick our finger up to the wulrus:D. We could then drive anywhere in the EU but getting in and out of the UK could prove a problem at the moment, as much as we want too its not worth the hassle.
Hope all have had a productive day and 1 more tomorrow:).
