Up early because we were to make an early start today, but found that my house guest never made it back here.
Tom fell asleep on my sons sofa during a spot of film watching so they left him there.
So, I arose at 7 to make breakfast etc. etc. and no-one here. LOL.
Will toddle along later instead. 08:30.

I just can't believe my luck with such lovely weather over so many days. The wee one got me up 5 seconds earlier than normal - his clock must be running fast. He's out enjoying the warmth of the sun now whilst the big un slumbers on and yes, I'm in mi pit wi mi cuppa.

After my visit to the caravan dealer, I am promised that they will call me to arrange a home visit from one of their own! The only problem is …. when.

Today has to be devoted to housework as the layer of dust is getting thicker and thicker as the days tick on, I just hope I don't get any visitors until the work has been completed. What I would really like to do is go out and potter around the garden.

After a taps aff day yesterday (sunburn on my shoulders) its another glorious day.
Unfortunately have to go to work today
Up at 05:15 this morning to drive across to the office for a meeting.
Hopefully get it done by mid day and home around 13:30 to enjoy the sun.
Wee Project to start on the Defender, will paint all the checker plate matt black.
Tried removing it yesterday but its solid so will have to mask up and spray in situ. (pics as usual to follow)
So everyone enjoy the sun where ever you are

Weather gorgeous so I’ve quickly painted some 3m gravel boards (waste oil and doosal). Just off to skim some more walls . Should be done just after lunch then I’ve a pointing job to estimate.

Despite having cancelled the delivery of topsoil, all the way from Yorkshire, it arrived, well the truck did this morning!
Ordered via Wickes, whoes left hand doesn't seem to know what they right is doing!
Watching a squirrel, that is used to drinking from our pond, finding it empty and walking around in it.
Wonder where he will go to drink until we fit the bird bath?
Our rough old garden is a haven for wild life compared to the manicured patches behind all the other houses near us. Even with our dogs..
Sunny again though a little chilly.

Brilliant afternoon not just because sun is shining and taps are definately aff
but also because I started and finished painting my checker plate, but also
11/2 hour call with HMRC to negate having to return a self assessment ! Im PAYE for christ sakes
Worth the pain to find out the Tax man owes me £2273 result. So as a celebration you are all invited
to my place for as much drink as you can pour down your necks.
