The lockdown in this area is certainly being observed. I think people are fed up with the restricted life that has been forced on us by the virus that they are desperate to do everything possible to try to 'move on'. I did notice that the burger bars have closed down, too.
As far as I know, buying and selling houses is a permitted activity, and has been since June.
I had to draw a line under working at my last place for my own sanity and I was fortunate enough to have some fundage put aside so I didn't have to find a new job immediately.

If you're happy enough to put up with the reasons why you're leaving in the first place just to get a salary then I suppose it's the right thing to do in the current situation.

It's a bit of a pain, I take an immune suppressor which makes me 'vulnerable'.

My immune system is too active and it is attacking me constantly. Brilliant in a pandemic except I inject a drug every month which keeps it in check. If I stop the drug, as was proven late last year, the condition gets so bad I cannot walk.

I have lived with it for 5 years so I want to get away from the rat race and play in my workshop until I can't
