Well bit blowy and wet here, but in lockdown doesn't much matter to us.:(

Oh and Nursey was called Tony and used to be in tanks!
But nice bloke and my hole is healing up really quickly. :):)
Wifey still grouchy. Just got told off cos, knowing I was going to orspicle yesterday, I dared to pull a smarter pair of pants from near the bottom of the pile in my drawer and left the others in a bit of a mess. You really can get told off for anything in this house!:mad::mad:

Dog walk abandoned - drove 8 miles but just couldn't find a way through all the ROAD CLOSED signs due to flooding. The dogs just couldn't understand why they ended up back home without stopping for their walk. :D
The big 'un is determined to make me pay as 'e keeps bring toy after toy after toy to try to make me play! The wee one just went to eat his chicky wings, looking back at me as if to say - "Over to you, keep 'im busy".:)

This toy throwing, is it going on inside, outside, or are you standing in the doorway?
We get this with our youngest one. We also have numerous other games,
Tug.
Catch.
Find the squeaky,
Foot (two versions one with slippers on, one without, not being played at the mo for obvious reasons!:(
And some of the time they play with each other, although this can lead to growling when one pinches another one's chew.
Oh and the old one simply takes toys away and off to the study, where she does nothing with them.
Think we oughter be on tother fred!
do you watch the Dog psychiatrist blokey? The one with the white Range rover? He's good isn't he! Loved the one with the border Collie that started staring into mirrors etc! they are so clever!:):):)

Thinking about it, I bet a part of you was thinking, "Ho ho! Just what my Landy was built for! Time for a bit of fun!"
But then put your wise, big girl pants on and stopped yourself driving round the sign! ;););)

I would have driven through the sign if I had been able to assess the state of the flooding but there were at least six little cars who had driven through the 'closed' sign and then stopped realising they could not go through 'cos they couldn't see over the narrow little humped back stone bridge to see if anyone was coming out of the village through the flooding - basically blocking the road!

Indoors! Fortunately we have very large rooms with plenty of space. As a breed they are not usually interested in chasing a ball, all toys have to have something of interest to challenge their very active brains. The big 'un is brilliant at finding the right toys out of a mountain load, and his favourites are the shake and throw about ones - you know the ones that can cause the most damage! The wee one just cannot get the hang of indoor 'toy' games as his total experience is outdoors being chased. :D:D:D

Outdoor play counts me out - it's over to them!!

Dunno about you, but all the floors of almost all the rooms of our house have toys around. Just sitting here with my foot up I can count 8 and I cannot even see around the furniture.
As fast as we clear them up they take them out of the box.
And the variety is massive. They are so soft mouthed many last for donkeys years. And Pat will mend them if she is sufficiently attached to them, or they are one of their "favourites" (which means all of them nearly, in essence!)
she will also buy them new ones for special occasions like Christmas or going away on holiday, the one time we do each year. (They have a similar pile in France.)
Wish ours were clever enough, like that Border Collie on the TV, to be able to differentiate between how many is it? hundreds, if not a thousand or so toys!

Seeing a dog using its brain to work something out is a joy to see. :)

@Shimsteriom did you get run ragged in your last few days? I am getting a bit fed up with it :) I was supposed to have the afternoon off but it has been call after call :(
As soon as a replacement was found for me I actually did nothing at all other than show the new guy what he needed to do, so no, I wasn't run ragged during my final month once he started. :)
Unless you intend offering your services to them after you leave, I can highly recommend changing your mobile number if possible. ;)

Thats the rub, it may be too good an offer to turn down in the current situation as selling the house may prove difficult for a couple of months!
