Had a massive row with wifey yesday so ended up sleeping in till midday.:rolleyes:
Worse for years.:(:( Bloody money.:mad: All cos I will be getting my pension soon,
Anyway, went to bed on speaking terms, but the plans for going out for the first time since quarantine have gone pear shaped, as PO will be shut.
So will be orderin stuff orf Screwfix and trying to source a new virus protection. Do this every year, usually alternate tween Macafee and Norton , so it'll be Nortons turn now. Never ever pay their extortionate renewal just go to t'shop, but PC world may be shut cos of lockdown.
Have a good one peeps:):):)

That is interesting, I have been paying up to Norton renewal for quite a number of years ---- until this year when I gave their extortionate renewal rate 'the Royal Order of the Boot'! Each year they tried to convince me that all the 'extras' they were adding were good for me and good value. But, but, but, I don't need 'em, so we are parting company at the end of December. I continue to get emails as if they have not yet understood that I will NOT be auto renewing.

Some of the 'bloatware' that comes with antivirus protection is not worth opening the CD tray for ...

No, I am just looking at ordering it over tinternet as it is a cheap as going to PC world where I can only pick it up, kerbside, not browse.
Norton's basic at £15 odd seems OK.
Is there a special reason why you mention Malwarebytes?

We use them at work, they are compatible with a lot of other 'scanning' software ...

@Stanleysteamer you still have arguments? We gave up on those a long time ago! Hope you are all settled now as it really is not worth falling out over money :)
Your right, I used to row with my ex loads, with this one we hardly ever row and this one came right out of left field. But then we'd had a bit of a drink and booze can make her a tiny bit punchy! (well only rarely physically. The stupid thing was over her being too generous to me in how much she buys me for Xmas. Plus how we divvy up our money. something we have never rowed over before!
My parents used to row over money until my dad came up with a foolproof system which works like a dream and worked even with my ex. We apply this, or are supposed to be doing, but... wifey is over generous.... without telling me,

Do watch it though, they ALL double the price the following year, so if you alternate you avoid this. Tiny bit of pain but you do save the dosh!:):):)

@Stanleysteamer before we were married my now mrs decided to have a real rant at me while I was putting on a crash helmet.
Now as my good friend was stood by me he removed his crash helmet & handed it to her. Then sat her in the bucket seat, strapped the 5 point harness tight & asked if she wanted the intercom left on.
Once she was all prepped I sat in the drivers seat plugged into the intercom & pulled up to the start line.
Well the light turned green & it took 10miles of racing for her to start talking to me nicely. (Took me about 4 years before I got into the passenger seat & permitted her to drive her motor under face conditions)
We did learn never to ague before bed or putting a crash helmet on.
