Had a close call with painkillers last night .. usually take one Co-codamol every eight hours and have one paracetamol every 'other' eight hours, alternating parrots and co-co over a 24hr period ...

Till number two son suddenly said 'oi, you not allowed any more coco's till tomorrow' ...

I'd taken two coco's and four hours later two parrots, completely forgetting what I was supposed to be doing ...

I hope my liver will be nice to me today ...
Going by what wifey takes every day, which would turn your hair grey, I don't think you were in much danger. According to this, you'll be ok as long as you don't make a habit of it!:):):) https://www.nhs.uk/medicines/co-codamol-adults/

I didn't work out the total days dose ...

As soon as I realised I'd gone over I stopped ... number two son would have gutted me for it, so we haven't told him ....

Doc's surgery rang me today to tell me why the chemists had not processed the prescription requested about 9 days ago.
Was told it was because I had requested a minor skin treatment that I had not requested for a year.
I told them that I had not requested it for the last 4 months cos I had been out of the country, but before that every time I spoke to the chemists about it they said they just couldn't get hold of it, so I didn't bother requesting it. (I have since discovered I could buy it over the internet, I'd just have to say it was for a "medical reason" can't be used for anything else anyway., which is why I bovvad.))
I pointed out I had had it a for a long time in the past and it had never been a problem. Wasn't that enough to ensure I got it?
No, "I'm not pharmacy trained", (you bet, she couldn't even pronounce the most simple drug yet she is the Prescriptions Manager!)
"You'll have to talk to the doctor."
"Fine, how do we do that?"
"He'll ring you, we'll make an appointment"
"Fine, when?"
"The 18th" (FFS)
"What time?"
"Oh, anytime" (Double FFS)

I think you can imagine some of the things I'll be "asking" the doc!:mad::mad::mad:
