We left the pool cover off last night as it was 32° anyway the bloody house martins and wag tails have been bathing and drinking. But they are getting ready to go as no nests seem to be chirping anymore.

I did. Cold beers going down after a mornings hard graft (and well into the afternoon) shovelling stone sub base into sil's noo patio area. Got too hot, went home, raided fridge (small, non american ff, I aint rich like some on 'ere)

Today we ran all 4 x 100Metre runs of underfloor heating pipe and then we put down 33% of the laminate flooring.
We had to do this because the entire kitchen arrived a day earlier than anticipated and we needed a place to "park" it in the house before fitting it.
A long day for an old boy like me, but very satisfying. Here's Thom & my Son after hauling all the heavy items in off the drive.
Thom intends to carry on laying the flooring tonight so that the kitchen can be fitted ASAP.
A good day's work.
