I have given it a lot of thought but I don't think with my medical history I will get another job like this.
The job is great it's carrying everyone else that is so tiring!

I was trying to be positive with the 1 week
.Get the Boys to get upstairs rooms sorted who needs a kitchen, and get them too rough it a bit
That’s the trouble with youngsters today they seem to want everything right first , get her a pair of overalls wash once a week
We wouldn’t be in our house now if we needed it finished, but then living in it has allowed us to slow down, so I guess it’s a bit of a toss up
We got through 3 kitchens as it got moved (improved) till the final 1 got sorted. Lived with it and got on, seems some not willing to have a bit of an adventure these days.
Here try showing her, Live in this while this is happening. Although we did have shower and washing machine setup.
But you only have to not harm her for a month or so more your Son has to put up for the rest of his life
there’s always a bright side.J

Itchy cat is "pegging it" I think
Just lying down and not moving. Largely unresponsive unless directly touched.
Vet was useless, maybe it is just her time. Poor little thing.

Sometimes they just know. Our Shadow did similar (dog) but our vet came 70klm so he could go at home.

Well, if she does pass I shall have to bury here really deep here (we have foxes & badgers in the garden) and that would be too terrible to contemplate.

They are trying to recruit someone much more junior than me in the belief that they'll be able to do the job so are offering a much lower salary than I am on now, even after the recent pay cut.Why not apply for it but add some more to your “expected salary” section

Before I was made redundant in 2011, they asked the office junior if he could do my job. Yes! was the reply.
I got the push and he left after three months as he realised I hadn't told him about all of my duties
They asked me back but hey, I was busy in a better job
Should have told them you want to retire, but would do some days if required on a “day rate”.
I did that ....

While sitting out my notice period (gardening leave) I got called into the office for a chat.
Apparently major clients were kicking off left-right & centre.
Would I mind staying on all existing T's & C's and could we please forget any of this "unfortunate stuff" had ever happened?
I said yes we can; but I doubled down on my mortgage payments and maxed out my pension contributions to get the max the company would put in as well.
Never, ever trusted the bastards ever again and left 10 years later mortgage free and with a big pension.
