Nice day here today.
All morning stuff done.
Greeted by the usual Cat-related clean-up issues
She's not at all a well-girl.
The boys finished the prep for the plasterer's at 2AM this morning.
Plasterer's arrived this morning 8AM and said "Looks Great!, well done!" - So I will get at least 2 days "off" as the plasterer's will be there and I am not needed for anything.
Nice day here today.

Well iv spent a glorious morning round the welsh roads. Done my best to annoy caravans who don’t know how wide they are(I stop in the narrow bits & let them squeeze past)Cool and dull 'ere but it is still too early to determine what the rest of the day will be like - we're promised sunshine.
Now waiting to see when to unload

Us boys laikes Brittany Ferries. Us av fond memmries uv clankety-clankin us way on board wiv 200 litres of very sloshable liquid goodies packed tightly into us Hippo (bestest 4x4 in hole whirl evva) and enuff olive oil ferra year. And uvva tasty stuff anorl. Us goin tur miss that iffn them takes away vree markit.

The plasterer was pleased with the state of the ceilings & walls and has almost finished the ceiling today.
Here is an earlier picture. He will finish the big ceilings today and the walls & cloakroom tomorrow.
I think the boys are delighted to see it all covered up with plaster.

I took the last two days off as sick and all that greeted me this morning was a whole lot of work as nobody did their jobs in my absence.
My fifteen hours have created 60 odd lost hours!

DIL is a total air-head and expects to be moving into a fully completed "palace" I think.
Monopolised the washing machine on "long" cycles today because SHE wanted HER clothes "extra clean" because she had got "dusty & dirty" on site.
WTF does she think we've been doing all week? But we are making space & access in our home for her family and she's oblivious to it.
Very odd girl.
