I'll get the make of the costco ones tomorrow, pretty sure they are coleman darwins, but I'll have a shufty at some others in the morning. Some hike tents can go for crazy money and are up to scaling everest, obviously we're not in that league but in the same vein we don't want something that will leak and collapse on the first outing on a Welsh mountainside.

Don't know when I'm next over the bridge apart from on the way to France in early August so vids would be tip top if poss.

Just had a quick shufty round the web - Costco is deffo the cheapest place for Coleman Darwins at under 30 quid each, might even be cheaper if they are moving them out for the 'winter' stock. Will speak with the manager today when I pop down to try and haggle some more off and try and square up some over the phone paying shenanigans.

Obviously I'm open to all suggestions - but I know Costco are bulletproof when it comes to faulty stuff - had a lightspeed easy up type tent which bust on second outing, they refunded no problem and I got me a coleman Darwin, which has been a great little tent.

Put me down for a donation but I need to know when it will be required as I am off on my hols in the next few weeks.

Costco can't do over the phone payments, explained to one of their managers who is a really helpful chap what I was after and he said he would if he could but they can't either physically or procedurally.

Won't have chance to look at alternatives tonight as we is off out - but should have some time tomorrow.

Could you not contact the company direct and negotiate a Trade Account with them? x

Mentioned this to my boss. He didn't believe that a bunch of folk who have never met and only share an affection (or should that be affliction?) for a make of car could or would do this.

this gets a good review, 3000mm waterproof

Call halfords up (local store) ask for manager and explain situation possibly give you more money off especially for more than 1 and there cause

Also easier for payment and extra 10% off at the minute
