Hello all,

I need a few bits for my '98 Mk1 targa and contacted a breaker who had them, but he doesn't seem to want to be bothered to send them to me, 'cause I live in Spain, so I was wondering if anyone has these bit and would be prepared to send them for me.

1) Owners manual
2) SRS module
3) Clock
4) Driver's door mirror housing (Left hand)
5) Wheel nut and hub centre cover (Black plastic)

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Lee

Can't be arsed to search for the bits I need on e-bay - thanks for the suggestion anyway

1. for owners manual, go to green oval dot com and download something called the rave cd. it has all the manuals and more.
2. srs module - they do come up from time to time, are you certain it's the srs module at fault as many other things can cause srs fault.
3. clock - how about this one:
Land rover freelander 2004 TD5 dash clock lamp display on eBay (end time 29-Apr-10 19:09:23 BST)
or this:
Clock & Radio Display - Genuine Land Rover Freelander on eBay (end time 14-May-10 13:36:04 BST)
or this:
LAND ROVER FREELANDER CLOCK HAS RADIO DISPLAY on eBay (end time 03-May-10 22:07:56 BST)
or this:
LAND ROVER FREELANDER DASH CLOCK on eBay (end time 04-May-10 20:44:09 BST)
how about this:
ROVER 25/45/200/400/FREELANDER RADIO CLOCK DISPLAY on eBay (end time 28-Apr-10 20:04:48 BST)
maybe this:
ROVER 25/45/200/400/ FREELANDER RADIO CLOCK DISPLAY on eBay (end time 01-May-10 21:46:30 BST)

it's got to be one of them surely ?

4. drivers door mirror housing - rarer than rocking horse poo, only real course of action is to buy whole mirror.

5. wheel nut covers. will this one do:

LAND ROVER FREELANDER STEEL WHEEL CENTRE HUB CAP on eBay (end time 16-May-10 18:10:08 BST)

Optimus....please don't think I don't appreciate the time and trouble you obviously took in pointing me in the right direction for the bits I need.

The day before yesterday I had to take to my bed with a severe athsma attack, and have only just got up and put my PC on again.

I'm not the kind of person that takes others for granted and am very appreciative of your help.

I'll investigate these bits, obviously I wasn't looking hard enough!

Thanks again

please accept my apologies for my comments, I hope you are okay again now, and hope you manage to find all the components you need for your freelander. Sadly, I don't have any of them, as I buy mine on an as and when basis (quite frequently sometimes)

good luck

No problem...easy mistake to make.

Thanks again for your help and wishes.

I'm well on the way to getting my bits now and I'm also back on my feet again.

It's nice to be a (new) member of a friendly forum.

Once again I appreciate your help, as well as the advice from the others who took the trouble to reply.

I uploaded a piccy of my motor this morning and I can't find it anywhere - it's prob'ly my fault, but if anyone knows where it may have gone I'd like to know.

Doh....................

Leethesign in the home for the terminally confused.
