You're in the right place.It’s a 2000 Range Rover 4.6 hse.
Whilst you're awaiting proper advice getting in touch, I was recently made aware that the tailgate locking/unlocking is directly linked to the Driver's door action. In my case, I discovered that whilst central locking worked on the other three doors, it wouldn't operate correctly on either Driver door OR the tailgate. HOWEVER, I COULD unlock both when using the key to lock/unlock driver door...My tailgate lights are not turning on I’m not sure if they are supposed to they do in reverse but nothing else. Also my tailgate won’t open it’s getting power but then it won’t open.
Which of the tailgate lights don't work? It’s a 2000 Range Rover 4.6 hse.
I would have to go look but are they not the rear fog lights?I have checked the earth points but in the lights on the actual tailgate not the rear quarter panels. The reverse lights work but the lights below them are not working and I’m not sure what they are.
If it's only the rear fogs, have you checked the fuses and bulbs? Apart from that, wires have been known to break where they flex between the tailgate and the tailgate frame.Yes sorry about that mistake they are the rear fog lights
