the tyre sizes are matched to my original 16s if i stand the 22s next to the 16s they are the same hight the 20s i fitted last week make the ride better than before

Ive just done some quick calculations, and to get to the rolling radius of 16" wheel with 255 65s those 22s will need rubber with a 25 section - assuming they are the same 255 width. That close on rubber bands

Which is why I think he may have handling problems as I thin kmy large sidewall acts as a little cushion sometimes.
