I broke rule number one of defender ownership... and left my toolkit behind!

Been working for a tree surgeon today and tomorrow, thought I won't need my chainsaws and toolbox tonight so left them in his lockup. Halfway home, my indicators stopped working! Pretty well every screwdriver, knife, pliers, torch etc is locked up for the night 30 miles away, and I have to get back there tomorrow morning

So I'm off outside to see if I can diagnose and fix the problem armed with only my very limited electrical knowledge, the light on my mobile phone and my backup pair of needle nosed pliers, nothing more is available to me at the moment!

hopefully some of you will learn from my lesson, NEVER remove toolkit from land rover!

Lol i did something similar not that long ago. Went to a friends house to change my headlights and had to leave the landy there overnight in the rain because it went pear shaped  managed to bribe a lift home and back. They got really grumpy about it so decided it probably wouldn't be a good idea to ask to use a mattress on the floor :D:D You have to be patient to be a landy owner thats for sure :p
