I am so annoyed with your behaviour.

Wow - have just read the thread that supposedly started all this - that has to be one of the least aggressive and rude thing fanatic has ever written in a post- at best it was a smidgen sarcastic

I would reiterate again that it appears that Mr R's tolerance for stress is the issue here as a result of his home situation. And whilst that is completely understandable - you cant go around blaming your inability to tolerate it on others - when i get wound up by some of the posts on here I spend time reflecting if I am just being a tad over sensitive or if they are genuinely at fault.

In this case I would say that for obvious reasons your emotional thermostat is a little too sensitive for a robust site like this

what she said

One thing that get's me though.. how long has Mr R been a member???

Some of you are still not geting the point are you?

You can see by the above comments why you cause my sort of reaction

Its my fault we bought the car not his, which is fine so why such hostility?

ITS JUST A BLOODY CAR

Some of you are acting like spoilt children

NO compassion just your self centered point of view is the correct one

I know you helped fanatic and I thank you, so did The Mad Hat Man and others.

But as you can see 6 stupid insnsitive and inane comments again.....

There is no correct way to say or ask anything on here as ther is always someone with a stupid comment as my husband has found.

Years ago he would get sensible answers but look at the comments above.

I don't want to burden any one with our problems but a civil answer to a sensible question is all that is needed and thats what he first asked.

Some of you can hand out agression and stupid comments but as soon as you get a response your not adult enough to accept it.

I asked a simple question.... How long has your husband been a member?

Maybe she needs to take a few Valium and a glass of wine, and he might need a double dose of viriga. But she probably has castrated him all ready:hysterically_laughi

I think some people forget there's a real person behind the user name. Sometimes peeps may go too far, and don't realise the effects. Landyzone is known for the style of banter it has. Many have come and gone, and many have stayed.

Yes he is sensitive and I have told him not use the site again

Are you really a woman
Do you have children?

Your statement is totally incorrect

I do have empathy for both of your situations but you can not blame his reaction on other people. We are all responsible for our own emotions- other people can't make us unwell - we chose to allow ourselves not to tolerate the distress and then blame it on others.

So know one has ever upset you?

Are you really that hard

DO you think he will listen ,and oh yes does he have his balls

Busterbus

Its in the rant

He has been a member for years but became unwell and has not been on for about two years.

His only dealings were with the Range Rover section who were very helpful.

Never this sort of aggression.

I see you have youngsters on your page, presumably because you love them and would note like them to become sick.

If they did what would you think about the reaction here?

Make a nice cup of tea and sleep on it.

Come back with a fresh open mind.

I'm sure if your looking for a project that you could take photo's and make a thread of it-You have one to hand

Possibly the negative side of things your husband has seen is the fact that there is vast data on 1.8 k series on here and answering the same things over and over wears a bit thin.

If you find it a bit coarse at times on here, maybe it is peoples way of dealing with things.

I'm sure if your husband could see it as harmless banter and start a thread with a list of parts and materials we can help him along.

Your husband has been reasonably active on this site since 2008, please tell me why it's taken him this long to get the huff and decide to leave?

At any point during that time he could have just logged off and gone over to one of the many boring, sensible, anal Land Rover sites, and nobody here would have given a damn. You and him would fit in just fine over there it seems

The stupid, insensitive inane comments are the reason that those people who have given you the sensible answers are here in the first place. With the one you won't have the other. It is also the reason why LZ is so successful. This isn't your average forum. It's the equivelent of being down the pub but without leaving your home.

I too got into landrovers due to a dieing relative. I also know of the debt and stress it can bring. The consequences of doing what I did means that I can't afford to have kids and won't be free from debt for another 20 years because of it (it was my own choice). As has been said already, If your husband is getting wound up by being on here then maybe he should take a break from the forum. If there are certain members that are getting on his nerves then all he has to do is to add them to his ignore list.

Instead of taking the comments as a personal attack on your husband and yourself, take them as being the lighthearted banter they are intended as.

ffs just read both threads and he got fookin advice .... think problem started with the words ... end of thread

ps pikey jus arrived he said "burn the fooker" :)
