I live in bromley in kent. I’ve got a 54 reg Freelander V6 HSE petrol that needs a New cambelt kit fitting. and a new head gasket kit. water was being lost but no signs of water in the oil. Plus the vehicle hasn’t over heated. So not sure if the heads are damaged or not?? But if they are warped I’ve a engineering firm that can skim the heads pressure test then and fully repair them. The motor is just sitting on our drive doing nothing would like to know how much to repair this vehicle I’ve already ordered all the parts to do the work. Just need need someone to strip everything and repair many thanks all.
 
I would hazard a guess the work will equal a large chunk of the value of the car? plus no one is going to want to touch t for fear of comebacks, bearing in mind even the factory could not get the v6 right.
