What a joke! Couldn’t even find a photo of a 110. Fair play if people are buying them though!
If like they say your vehicle runs heavy all the time then it will help, and it wont be 50mm higher with weight in it, a bit like heavy duty springs.
Oh , and you mistake the CoG for the Centre of Mass Height / Weight. You might just have missed that lesson.
Std term in the motor trade, very rare to hear anyone call them by their correct term.
If you notice any post on here or any other land rover forum always says their new shox/springs are fanatstic and have improved handling etc
The reason? becuse their old susp set up was fooked!

Not where I work, could be a regional thing? I have heard people call them shocks but shockers isn't something I hear a lot of, except maybe on forums.

In fact cant remember the last time I heard the word damper in relation to er supension dampers.
Im going to try it at work shortly and see what funny looks I get, I say old man could you possibly get me a pair of rear dampers, thanks old bean

And why would you think damper is the "correct term" when shock absorber is the term used by the huge majority of people including all suppliers and manufacturers?

As far as I'm concerned the shock absorbers are the springy bits that support a vehicle and absorb shocks imparted by the road surface.
Dampers are the long thin bits that are used to damp down, or regulate the amount of bouncing around the springy bits will impart to the part of the vehicle that I sit in and give a smoother ride.

Springs are used to suspend the vehicle on its axles. Shock absorbers are used to absorb the shocks presented to the vehicle from the wheels as the go over bumps. They also damp movement of the vehicle in response to axle movement.
They can be called shock absorbers, dampers, or even shock dampers, the name describes what they do so you're all right
