Hi all, I have an ex utility company 110 td5 with a hydraulic winch on the front bumper. Has anyone heard of running a log splitter of the hydraulic system on one of these? I have approx 16 tonnes of wood to split and not looking forward to doing it with an axe! Any input much appreciated.

I use a log splitter on a tractor at work. You will need to make sure that the splitter is secure as ours jumps around a lot on the 3 point linkage.

Don't see why your landy wouldn't power it if plumbed in right, had it on a 32hp garden tractor for a bit, slower than the 162hp it's normally on.

I can do about 1 ton per hour on my own so be prepared to have your landy running for quite a while.
