Hull 4x4 Annual Jamboree at Robinhood Bay, North Yorkshire. AUGUST 6th 7th & 8th.

ARRIVE FRIDAY 6TH Bay Ness Farm next to the North Yorkshire Off Road Centre.
Set up camp then a gentle stroll to the local pub (The Grovenor Hotel) for beer and grub. Bayness Farm is a proper camp site with showers, water and power, with great views over the bay. There are a number family attractions in nearby Robinhood bay and the site is surrounded by country walks.

SATURDAY 7th. Greenlaning around North Yorkshire, various groups depending on vehicle and experience.

SATURDAY NIGHT. Club BBQ AND BONFIRE (BRING YOUR OWN SCRAN).

SUNDAY 8th. Hull 4x4 has exclusive use of NORTH YORKSHIRE OFFROAD CENTRE site for the day. We will provide marshals and recovery. An only slightly competative HUNT THE PUNCH CHALLENGE will be run. TRY AND BEAT LAST YEARS CHAMPIONS'

We have to be flexible, depending on the number of vehicles, groups and preparedness of the vehicles.

Usually the first groups are away around 10am, but sometimes the last groups have been away after lunch. If you want the maximum choice of group then probably best to be there for 10am.

brockus, i took my standard disco 1 auto there a few weeks ago. it was its first time off roading, and did remarkably well (even on almost bald road tyres). didnt get stuck once.

i may have to come then on the saturday and camp the nite... be nice to no sum lanes around ther.. i have been to the off road site with my dads car d2, but i will av to get my diff lock workin first thing my new switch is stopin it goin into diff lock ...
