We are now officially 6 days into winter in Silly Suffolk
"TEMPERATURES on Saturday are expected to hit the mid-70s but the county’s household waste recycling centres are moving to winter hours because it is October 1. "

Been following his advice and all is OK so far (could it be 'cos we have a port and I lives close to the dock?)

An 'infrequent' visitor here (not helped by a few log-on probs now sorted) - but had to thank you for the 10 minutes of chuckling this has given me on a Friday afternoon.

Apparently he was thinking we lack knowledge he thinks he has, and that we are ignorant. I reckon this was not an ideal start to a LZ thread!

he wrote:

Right peeps, I know i havent got a LR yet but i was taught my engine knowledge on diesel marine engines so know how a fuel rail and a helical works.

My Rant / Advice is about peeps who complain there Die's ( some of this will work for petrols) dont start up easily in winter . This is due to lack of knowledge or ignorance. So here are some tips.

The rest of it was laughable, but not more. He got what he deserved.

He may also have learned some!

I wander if Dave18 could tell us how to do an oil change now. I think this thread has been done to death.

Reminds me, I need to do my Disco oil.

It takes ages to pour the new oil down that little pipe where the stick says "FILL".
