Really stuck now.....

I currently have the spare wheel attached to the rear bulkhead mounting arm using one wheel nut. This allows the wheel to move around a lot and it bangs against the bulkhead so I've been looking for something a bit more secure.

Land Rover have two mounts: The first is just a bracket (£5.99) which supposedly holds the spare in place by sitting across the wheel and being held by one nut in the centre. This doesn't fit Boost alloys and looks as bad as the current solution.

The other one is the Tomb Raider holder which is a replacement bulkhead extension bar, and a plate with three bolts which fit through three holes in the spare and can then be bolted on securely (£99!). Unfortunately the extension arm is about 2 inches too short as the canopy bracket on the top of the rear bulkhead protrudes about 2 inches and I want to leave it on.

I can't use a swingarm mount as I have a full length Patriot roof rack with twin access ladders and I don't want to bonnet mount it.

Anybody seen a suitable bracket anywhere? Looked around but can't find one!

why not just use a standard wheel as the spare?
then you can use the 6 quid bracket.

Could do but it seems a shame to have a full size boost alloy that matches that I can't use....

Why not get something fabricated and powdercoated or galvanised, excluding coating it would probably be cheaper than £100.

Good idea but it seems to be the metal retaining bar for the rear canopy that is causing the problem.

Sticks out miles....I tried the tomb raider wheel holder which would be ideal at a LR dealers the other day but it was about 2 inches too short due to said rail.
