Why cant we have out own How To? seems to work great on other forums, better than using American ones? and links to other sties, I'm sure you know who i mean, don't get me wrong its a great site, but if we do it here at least we can make recommendations on who to get the parts from and the cost of them ect, don't mean to step on toes, but this is a great site, and I think the more info you get the more popular it will be, and all the fixes will be in one place and not repeated over and over again, or you don't have the room for this??

as long as part suplier recommendations include more than the few mentioned generally on here,as diversity is important i dont want paddocks etc becoming tescos in lr world ,if your not careful youll just have a find your own answer non dicussion site as people just get what they need without becoming member ,and then playing apart as well as getting info, every question has been done and redone but is new to some ,and some of us dont mind answering again and again, what else is there unless you just use anything goes section

i have never had a problem finding out 'how to' do something on LZ... there is a function called search and that seems to work fine for me...

Search can be a pain in the bum though. It would be much better to have all the excellent walkthoughs that people have provided in a single place.

This comes up periodically but nothing ever happens about it!

I agree with the Paddock/Craddocks thing, so just a part # will do I suppose, at the end of the day things can be tweaked, and a good pictorial would have a great advantage too, but the trouble with that most of the time is people move on and delete there picks from (eg) Photobucket, but a good walk thru is always handy to have and refer to

i agree, a seperate section for these in my opinion is overdue, there was a great one recently for the air con on the p38, it would be a shame for any of these to be lost. As with free advertising for companies, why not do as dopey says, just have the orginal land rover part number and people can simply find it for themselves from a supplier, i mean everyone on here knows where to look for parts as we do own p38's!!!!!!

A good look at busters photo repairs is a real straight forward way for repairs. Just get your parts a get it done. if looking for trouble shooting than thats different. What i'd like to see is busters repairs on a cd format so you could have in the garage on a cd player to look at the pictures for reference
