how to change the dashboard clock

having searched the records and failed I thought I would ask you knowledgeable gents if anyone has changed the clock in a P38. is there a simpler way than described in the workshop manual?

Yes if you are prepared to risk breaking plastic bits, I removed the radio and some fixings and managed to get in behind and spring it out. Six years ago now so cannot remember the exact details.

Passenger cowl, radio, undo screws on the left and you can bend the console just enough to prize the clock out

Do it as described in RAVE. If you break one of the retaining clips it will wobble about like a whippets dick.
