It was over the weekend, so must have been either the pot hole outside Asda or going down the cliff at Dunwich

Mine did that when I first got it. Both sides within a couple of weeks. I think after one side had gone, the crack in the other one didn't stand much of a chance. Bloody scary to drive when they had both gone though. It's really bouncy and dodgy under braking.
Luckily the brackets were cheap to get and not too difficult to replace (if you don't mind angle grinding upside down under your landy).

invoice the local council for repairs, i got a mate who's just done it for a wheel bearing and was successful
