How old is everyone?

I cant help but keep thinking i am the only 20year old landrover owner! I dont see any young people iin 4x4s

Please tell me there are some people same age?

you dont see many 20 year olds in landys either because they cant afford them or that they just want something a bit quicker and lower to the ground. hasent quite got that bling bling image there all after

Well im 20 and i have had low fast cars before and i find them really boring! Yeah ok there fast but they will never be able to do what a lr can

Sorry when i was 20 i was driving about in cavalier sri's/astra gte's and all that type of stuff now i am 30 (still classed as youngish i hope ) i am a discovery driving caravan pulling off roading sort of bloke (young un's nowadays eh) LOL

but there is somthing different about the L/R wish i had got one when i was 20 might have saved me alot of money lol

Well I am just about to turn 20 and I love my landy.

I get a lot of wow from people when I walk up to my 90 and hop in, they sit in and look about, they just can't believe that I own 2 tons of LR.

I like the idea that I could drive just about anywhere or pull a broken down artic off the motorway more than being able to leave the lights in 1/6 of a second flat and leave eveyone in my fumes to have them meet me at the next set of lights.

yeh i get that all my mates were lovin it when i got rid of my car and got an lr! they like to come off roading with me! and suprising enough girls actually like it!!! brilliant

Yea thats it, the girls do like it, I knew a girl who wanted to buy my landy, and now when I see her she points and mouths "thats my car", its a joke but quite funny.

They do like it, however I need to find a new girl friend who won't leave me because I tell her about the new lift pump I fitted.

Mods, not any I have done myself really, I have a flood bar I just need to get put on, I have a yellow flashing beacon on the roof, which is always good fun.

I have MOD bumpers at the back, nato tow hitch, nato hooks at the front.

Just turned 25 myself. Got a 1972 Series 3 Diesel SWB. It's my first Landy but have been buying and doing up classic motorbikes for the last 3 years so i'm no stranger to getting the old spanners out of a Sunday morning. Simple to fix, cheap insurance and tax exempt in my case - you can't go wrong.

Mixed opinions from my mates, most think it's cool but they're not unused to seeing me turn up on something that looks like a throwback from Hearbeat. And it turns a lot more heads than their souped up shoeboxes.

Plus the missus loves it too, think it's the vibrations!!

When i was 20, i had a mk3 zephyr 4 cool or what, didn't get my first LR 'till i was 33...........it was a '71 V8 rangie

My first vehicle was a SWB Transit van, that had been done up in the style of the A- Team (Check archives, for youngsters)
Wolfrace wheels, bucket seats, quadrophonic stereo sound, bed, fridge, drinks cabinet all done out in dark brown fluffy velour....

Never enjoyed a car as much as I enjoyed that baby ... that was until I bought the L/R!!!!

Have got a 1989 90 25.td CSW
Am 20, and its my second car, first was a (please don't laugh) 1.0l nissan micra. it was an ace car, econmical, reliable and efficient...
I had only been driving the 90 for literally 10 minutes when i pulled some lass out of a ditch with it. She was engaged tho...
the only drawback is that after 150,000 the engine is pretty much dead, ditto the gearbox and the chassis is doing the best to resemble a sieve. The mot also looms.....

I am 27 and got my disco in september, loving it very much.

I have a mate who is the same age, he has had a Disco TD5 and then Freelander and now as well as the freelander he has a new Rangrover sport.
