How much should I offer?

Right been with a mate today to look at a tractor and while we were there I found a G reg 90 pickup. N/A 2.5 Diesel, which is fooked. He says the gearbox and axles were ok and a limited look underneath would suggest the chassis looks reasonably sound. Body work is straight but is very badly painted. The bit that interested me most in it is the tipping body not sure whether it works but not too difficult to fix as I have a number of transit tipper pumps which would fit. No tax or mot and been stood for about 2 years. Was gonna use me disco for a donor for the engine and anything else thats knackered will fit or can be made to fit seen as it's worth jack ****. He said to go away and think about it then make him an offer but ive never seen a 90 tipper before let alone have any idea as to a value for a spares repairs one. Any ideas?

well wen ya mek ya mind up ow'much ya gonna give im,lump the tractor n the 90 t'geva as one offer.that way e is mor likely t tek it.

I picked up a 90 NAD truck cab with MOT till feb next year and tax till Oct for £700 a few weeks ago. Chassis is patched, and bolts on the underside are at the point of crumbling, as are the exhaust mount brackets but hey it's 22 year old!

No more than £500, as it's been stood for so long. There'll be a lot wrong with it.
