How much have you spent on your Freelander?

I live in Italy...bought my Freelander (1999 MY, 2l L-Series Turbo Diesel engine) with 200.000 km on the clock for 1500 €...as soon as I got home I gave it a general check and serviced it with new engine oil and filters (done at home, just 80/100 € in total parts price, I don't remember the exact amount), new tyres (Continental 4x4 Contact, something like 500-600 €) then I changed the rear diff mountings (at home, 70 € parts' cost), after these I gave it to my Landies' mechanics to have the cambelt/auxiliary belt and tensioners done and the IRD, rear diff and gear oil renewed (800 € in total), last November, in the end, a new service including new VCU damper, new oil pipes, new antiroll bar bushes, new engine mounts, renewed and checked brakes front and rear for a total expense of 1000 €.
So 1500 € (price of the car) + 2560 €, less or more = 4000 € (something like 3100 Pounds)
...the car needed these repairs as it was a 13 years old car, so I don't consider this a big amount of money for the car which is now safe and fully functioning...just one owner before me, never been abused, always cared with regular maintenance, new VCU, reguluar diff oil changes, cambelt changed at 100.000 km etc
Happy to drive my old Freelander ;)
