How much dinitrol for inside the chassis & bulkhead?

I used around three and a half litres in my 110 chassis, stopped then as it was saturated and dripping out all over the shop.

I got the Large car kit from Rejel, then added a couple more! But I wanted to go OTT.

Also got the Dinitrol gun, which while fooking expensive is really really good.:D

If that's the version I used inside it is fairly thin and runny so it used less than I expected. Just keep spraying it in until it starts running out in other places. Keep moving the lance back and forth through the chassis holes to make sure it's spread around all over the place inside. Rather than put gallons in just for it to run out on the ground I ended up keeping a bit back so as to give it another spray in a year or two's time. Don't forget the little holes in the bottoms of the doors too.

yup, popped it in the over for 5mins at 100c.

Perfect.

But remove the plastic caps and seals first and stand it upright - bit of a bugger if you don't.

Cheers chaps.

I have modified my Schutz gun so it has a 4 foo long rubber pick up pipe I can just dip in the container, my plan was to heat the can up with boiling water and leave it standing in that to keep it runny

Thanks for all this information, Gents. As I've just got my 90, I'm hoping to rust treat it and nip (slow down) any further rot in the bud. At the moment I'm thinking the large Dinitrol kit from Rejel. I'm also thinking of POR15 Stop Rust Kit in Black (Small size) for touching up any part that's already got rust on it - that I can access of course. Inside the rails, I'll have to use the Dinitrol ML.

Does this sound correct to you?

benpalmer, you mentioned a Dinitrol gun..? Which one is that?

Seems a bit wasteful for me to buy a sprayer for a once-in-a-few-years job. We should have a sprayer-sharing-club. :D

I can only imagine. Destroyed a washing machine with waxoyl soaked overalls 3 years back - would have been doubly popular if I'd destroyed the oven as well!
