How heavy a bulkhead?

hi, new to the forum - discovered it when LRO forum stopped working...

ok - Does anyone know the weight of a stripped defender bulkhead? Preferably one that is new and hasn't become ravaged by rust.

Urgently need a fairly accurate answer - for a 2.5 TD, although I expect they're all about the same.

Got a new td5 one a week or so back. I didn't weigh it but me and our Myrtle lifted it off the back of the 90 and into the shed without to much difficulty. there more awkward than heavy. If you want I'll try and weigh it.

they come in a big brown box and plastic paper, takes ages to unwrap it.
tis like big boys christmass.

As far as I can tell lifting it myself and trying to look at the spring balance at the same time. It weighs about 34kg.

Your current bulkhead probably only weighs about 6kg and that includes the filler you put in. I would take it back to the nasty man who selt u it.
