No probs. The thing is, even if you DO obey all the rules - half the MOT testers and half the police won't know what is OK and what isn't! Someone on another board carries around a print out of the regs to shut them up :)

my point was ............. yes your all right there not illegal to fit or have working and not mot testable , but i think your find they are illegal to use on public highways mind i could be wrong wount be the first time

Correct me if im wrong but your original point was THEY ARE ILLEGAL AND WILL FAIL AN MOT :rolleyes:

There not illegal if they can only be used when the main beam is on :D :D
 
i was always under the impression if they were wired direct to main beam that was illegal , looks like i have to stand corrected :D:D:doh:

If they are wired direct to main beam you'll blow a fuse and melt stuff ;)

I was confoosed cos I got fogs on mine which is a different kettle of fish :D

to save argument i am leaving them as they are and just switch them on when i want them.
