Hi all,
After learning to drive at 9 years of age in my dads race spec series 1 ive always had Landrover in my heart. I was a subscriber of Pennine Landrover Clubs bottom box magazine at the age of 6. My uncle Dave "Boss Hoskins" used to race a lightweight for pennine lrc through the 80's and was quite well known in the north.
I never actually owned a Landrover as such. My brother had a series 2 back in the early 90's that i used to borrow and quarry it during the summer in Leeds.
Anyway ive just picked up a late series 3 safari for what id call a ...........erm.........bargain. Its been stood for 3 years but has held up well it seems. I buy and sell cars on the side of my everyday job but im well excited i came across this purely by knocking on a strangers door and asking if it was for sale. I think ive saved it from imminent scrappage and i cannot wait to get her MOT'd and ready for some big ol smiles!!
