why !!!!
it dont mean it will go and do fings any better ..........
fit wheel spacers be perpared to renew your wheel bearings on a regular basis ...........
plus the wider the tyre , the more your have to adjest your wheel stops , thus reducing your turning circle

i know i know but i need to get it out my system...but perhaps slightly thinner tyres isnt such a bad idea, however i would like them pertruding the body just slightly..

never had a prob with mine..
35/11.50/15 tyres and 35mm spacers over a year now offroading pay n play winch and punch challenges no renews yet

i got 33x12.5 on 10x15 rims will huge offset. bearings are fine also. more a problem on road cars. having said that my scirocco has huge offset an spacers and doesn't eat bearings.

also i bet that landy would go much further than a standard one!

Do you mean the blue(ish) 90 with the black 5 spoke wheels and tubular winch bumper? If so then...

Them thar be silverline wheels 4x4 and SUV Aluminium Wheels / 4x4 and SUV Alloy Wheels from Silverline 4x4 and Hankook Dynapro MT tyres.

Just fitted same (but diff size) to mine.

They come in two offests 0mm (ET0) and 25mm (ET25). If you go for ET0, you may not need spacers (I didn't on a 90 TD5).

These photo's were pre- 2" lift...

that bottom pic is exactly how i want my wheels to sit in the arches, so thanks for that! im looking at getting some insa turbos special tracks in 235/85/16 on some 16" 8 spoke steels....but what size are those tyres in your pic? the wheels re for my defender which is pretty much the same as the one in my first post, just sorting out wheels for it as its on standard skinny ones which look rank.....thanks for all the help :)

My tyres are 315/70R17 (basically almost 35" diameter). The rims as 17" x 8.5" (with zero offset).

The tyres in the pic you posted the link to look smaller (I'd say 33" diameter max and 285 width max). But still look good though:).

When I was looking I found posts (with pics in gallery) from gcoo8154 and johnlad really usful as they have similar size tyres to what I was looing for at the time (305/70R16 Hankook Dynapro MT on 8" wide steel mods). Sounds similar to what you are looking for size-wise.

put user name into search, click on any post returned, locate a post by the user and click on their name next to the avatar, look at the Album.

Land Rover Zone - johnlad's Album: The Landy

Land Rover Zone - gcoo8154's Album: landys

could not locate l8peas.

btw, putting 235/85R16s on a defender is like putting ballet shoes on Arnold Shwazeneger:D
