How do i get the SRS light off..

I blew 3 fuses a couple of weeks ago while messing about with the roof lining (a wire touched another wire blowing them), now the SRS light is on all the time, ive replaced the fuses.
So any ideas how to get it off or is it a dianostic to clear the code.

Following the fitting of a phone kit to my brothers 96 300 Tdi the SRS light was on .
A few tried and failed to turn it off so we finally took it to the main dlr - and it took them nearly an hour to sort it out . They did say that they hadn't done much with these older Disco's and they had to find a number of leads rarely used to hook up properly .
So I would say that for the older Disco's especially the dlr is your best bet .
These guys had quoted €50 for the job - and despite the length of time it took that's what they charged .
Another dlr had quoted €95 + VAT for the same job .

It's a dealer fix, unless you remove the airbags.

check the wiring connectors under the seats,one might be open.
