I would imagine all the front panels would need bracing together or it would flap around like hell and that crossmember is awesome to say the least!

Its done to minis and other cars all the time. Looks good and seems a good idea at the time but if you dont get the cuts right it looks **** and dont fit.
Cross member looks nice and all but is it legal? i wonder what vehicle inspectorate would thin of it? sharp edges and all that?
