FQB500130 tried the bearmach one, broke within a week, tried the metal x trouser type, did not fit, door would just not shut no matter how much i adjusted it ,its a simple bloody latch, the plastic insert keeps getting mashed meaning you have to really slam the door to get it to shut, door has a tenancy to open on its own, also replaced the mechanism ,is a OE one going to be any better?

Is the door too low/high so the latch gap in door does not line up with latch?
Also are the packing shims between latch and tub there so as to position latch in the door gap correctly?

height of the doors always been a problem,it does not touch the top seal well, but latch seems to line up,i put a equal amount of packers as the originals back behind the hinges when i changed them

Not the hinge one's but the triangle shaped ones behind the door latch where it fits on the tub.

packers on the front hinges wont move the door vertically , have you sat inside and watched the path of the latch as it moves to the closed position , and also that the actual latching cam is not hitting the front closing brace of the staple (the bit on the B post)
