Hi all, i've looked through the threads and its been really helpfull for allsorts so i'm hoping that now i'm desperate you may be able to help me.
I have a 1997 rr dse that when the engine is warm won't start without having to wind it over for a minute then a cloud of smoke and it runs great, it has just had a complete service including glow plugs, its been into rr and plugged in and everything is fine except air con needs gassing. I paid a auto elec to do the hotfix and that has not made any differnce, when it was in rr they said the coolent sensor was ok,can anyone give me anymore options please?

Yes hi just because the coolant sensor was not showing a fault on the diagnostic does not mean it is ok.
It could be slightly out on its reading thus causing the brain to mix the wrong amount of air to diesel.
I would unplug the sensor and see if it works with it unplugged.

Get back to me after you have done that and let me know how it is.

Hi, thanks for the reply but i'm afraid it didn't work, still won't start when warm, and to top it off the left hand side of the rr has gone down then up then down again, think i'm jinxed....
