Mot till April 2019. Last test it had a number of items repaired to get it to pass. Looks like it was being used.

Most likely stolen, stripped & dumped

True but I don't see why it would end up in woods with broken windows, tailgate handle and lights, and what looks like wheels missing.

I've searched the web before and found Freelander's used for bank robbery.

That will teach them to go dogging in the woods!

Those marks on the number plate could easily be double sided tape use to stick the plate on showing through the backing.

Or sticky left over from false plates on top of originals

If the intention was to nick the wheel (among other things) they weren't very prepared because they used the jack off the car to lift it.

I recon the owner has gone to the woods for some private passion. Being a Freelander though, the handle on the back door has broke as they've gone to get in the back. The bloke is now frustrated cos he's popped his blue pill and is gagging for it - so smashed the car up in his frustration.
