I am reducing my collection so thought I would start withe the VfR as I hardly used it the past year. It is a non standard but interesting for it I think and would make a great commuter for someone.
It is a 1994 FR model with 37,528 miles MOT until 05/06/2016. Spec is:
1994 Fireblade front end incl brake discs and callipers
Brand new Avon tyres AV59 front AV60 rear
Renntec rack, top box and scottoiler
Custom top yoke with straight bars replacing the clip ones
Aftermarket top fairing, steel brake lines on the front and crash bungs
Future high level silencer. 9 spoke rear wheel (very expensive now) and standard 5 spoke wheel will come with it.
Bad bits;
Speedo doesn't work (PCB problem) and is replaced with a Sigma 8 cycle speedo which works to 200mph! And has been calibrated to constabulary standard!
Steering lock is poor with the Fireblade conversion
Dent in tank r/h side where I had a low speed spill
Very good reliable bike owned by me since 2004 and currently SORN'd.
